An estimated 26,000 spectators lined the streets for the annual Great Dunmow Soapbox Race
The event was held on 26th May 2019, organised by Great Dunmow Round Table and is set to raise thousands of pounds for local good causes.
Teams took to the roads in homemade soapbox vehicles and faced jumps, the slippery, blizzard ally! They raced against the clock to be crowned the winner of the Great Dunmow Soapbox Race 2019. The winners were Dunmow coffee shop The Flitch House in the Fast & Furious Flitch!
The organisers have raised over £30,000 for benefiting Essex based charities including St Clare Hospice & Mind in West Essex
